Elders Home Moratuwa
Through it is an ardent duty in our culture and traditions to provide tender loving care to the elderly, materialism, that is pervading modern society, has been gradually casing this meritorious practice to be ignored. It is therefore of paramount importance that this noble practice is inculcated in the younger generations especially by their parents becoming role models in this respect.
176 destitute elders from Moratuwa and its environs spend the evening of their lives, happily as one family. Inmates are admitted through a selection committee.
The alms given by benefactors and well-wishers are a great boon to the maintenance of the home.
